This month, we take a rip-roaring romp through the French countryside with an atmospheric historical fantasy. Call him a wizard, warlock, magician, demon, or hero… our central figure has spent centuries chasing a force far darker than himself. Along for the ride is a snarky demon living rent-free in his soul, and together this magically bound odd couple is drawn into the lives of a family with a curse running through their blood. Expect a hunt, heartbreak, and no shortage of strange & powerful magic - this month's pick isn't for the faint of heart.

Our March drinks are designed to evoke a strong sense of time and place, and we were lucky enough to get the author’s input on a tea that ties beautifully into the story. The extra goodies this month are meant to lighten the mood and give a nod to our hilarious ne’er-do-well demon companion. We’ve also tucked in something sweet that makes an appearance in the book—once you spot it, tell us where it was hiding.

Our March pick reflects the wide range of stories we love to share: rich, challenging, and sometimes a little darker in tone. If you prefer to preview before diving in, you’re always welcome to look up the title in advance skip this one. We love introducing you to books you wouldn’t have otherwise picked, but we never want to push you past your comfort zone.
