This February, we have a book about books! Travel with us through a dual-timeline narrative set in a contemporary academic world, centered on a library that seems to know its readers better than they know themselves. But magic like this comes at a price. To keep the system working, readers must leave behind confessions in exchange for something few can resist: a prediction of what’s to come.

When the head librarian turns up dead and the book goes missing, two estranged lovers are forced back into each other’s orbit. One returning to the world he once fled, the other defending the life she built around it. In a race against time, they follow the clues left behind and try desperately to save the book and the lives bound by it.
