At some point, every one of us has wondered what would happen if we got dropped into our favorite fantasy book. Would you survive the first five minutes? Find your way into court? Or or meddle in the history that’s already been written?

This May, we’re diving into the ripple effects of what happens when someone does exactly that.

What starts as pure survival quickly turns into something much bigger. Armed with nothing but her knowledge of a world she was never meant to enter, our heroine trades that power to alter a story already written. Pulling together a rag-tag crew of orphans, warriors, and unlikely allies along the way, this month's store is a riot of modern-sensibilities and medieval-badassery. Expect found family, political intrigue, and a mounting tension that threatens to snap the timeline. 

Our bonus item this month is plucked straight from the pages and it’s one of the more benign ways we’ll see history get rewritten. We’ve got a great lineup of drinks for you and we’re so lucky to get input from the author on this month’s tea!
