Fabric Printing Information

DTG is the technique we use for most of our garment prints. We use eco-friendly water-based inks that provide unlimited color combinations and make detailed prints pop.

Some garments such as Racerbacks, Crop Ts, and Onesies are ribbed. Ribbed garments are more form-fitting and provide a little more stretch, which may be flattering to the person wearing them, but can be problematic when printing on them.

The problem with ribbed garments is that the ribs are raised. When a ribbed garment is stretched out the ribs usually even out with the rest of the garment.

When they are printed, ribbed garments are not stretched causing ink to only print on the tops of the ribs, so as the ribbed garment is worn the print will stretch and reveal these gaps.


Care Instructions


Printed apparel (Shirts, Tanks)

Printed items should be machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Use non-chlorine bleach, only when necessary. No fabric softeners. Tumble dry on low, or hang-dry for longest life.

Be wary of washing and drying on a high setting, especially when the garment is 100% cotton. High-temperatures can fade and crack the print.

If you decide to iron, use a cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration.

Our ceramic mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe.

Enamel Mugs that should only be hand-washed, and you cannot heat them in the microwave, or put them in the dishwasher. 

 

FAQ — Caffeine & Legends
What is Caffeine and Legends?

A monthly book subscription box built around the reading ritual — each box pairs a curated book with a coffee, tea, or drinking chocolate to enjoy alongside it. We always include at least one book or drink-related item, and the box retail value exceeds what you pay every month.

What's the difference between the monthly box and the Romantasy box?

The monthly box ships every month and may feature books with romantic subplots across a range of genres. The Romantasy box is quarterly — shipping in February, May, August, and November — and focuses exclusively on romantasy picks.

Its drinks and extras are curated specifically for that book and never overlap with the monthly box.

What if I already own that month's book?

We focus on lesser-known titles (still amazing, just underappreciated). We send a secret link in our theme announcement newsletter so you can see the book before it ships. You're always welcome to contact us and we'll let you know the pick in advance.

Why don't you include a lot of bonus items?

Less is more. We'd rather send fewer, higher-quality items sourced from small businesses than fill a box with stuff you won't use. Everything in your box is something we'd be excited to receive ourselves.

What if I have a food allergy?

We plan boxes 2–3 months in advance and are happy to share ingredient information ahead of shipping. If something that month doesn't work for you, we recommend skipping that box or swapping to a different drink option. We're a small team and can't special-order substitutions, but we do our best not to include common allergens.

Do you ship internationally?

International shipping is paused for now. Long transit times and high costs meant the experience wasn't up to our standards for customers outside the U.S. We're keeping an eye on options and will share updates if that changes.

How does the subscription work?

Sign up and you'll receive a box every month, shipping between the 1st and 7th. You can choose from multiple plans, including a roulette option that rotates between your drink preferences.

Do I have to subscribe, or can I buy a single box?

No commitment required. Single box purchases and seasonal boxes are listed under Legendary Drops around the 6th of each month. Subscribers do get a discount, though — so if you love your first box, it's worth coming back as a member.

Can I skip or pause a month?

Yes. Create an account at checkout and you can cancel, restart, or pause your monthly subscription at any time. If you're on a 3, 6, or 12-month pre-paid plan and need to skip, reach out via our contact form.

How do I change my shipping address?

Update your address in both the shop and subscription sections of the site before the 15th of the month (renewal day). You can also contact us with the name on the subscription and we'll take care of it.

I signed up but can't log in — help?

The account activation link likely landed in your spam or promotions folder (especially with Gmail). If you can't find it, just send us an email or fill out the contact form and we'll resend it right away.

How much do the boxes cost?

Prices vary based on how many drinks you select and your subscription length. 3, 6, and 12-month pre-pay options are available at a discount. Check the plan selector for current pricing.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — cancel any time before your renewal date on the 15th. If you cancel after renewal, that month's box will still ship. Cancelling a pre-paid plan stops future renewals but does not affect boxes you've already paid for.

Can I cancel an order I just placed?

Email us within 24 hours of purchase. All refunds may be subject to a 4% transaction fee.

Do you accept returns or offer refunds?

Due to the consumable nature of the items, we can't accept returns or issue refunds. If your box arrived damaged, email us at caffeineandlegends@gmail.com with photos right away — we'll do everything we can to make it right.

What happens if my box is returned to sender?

Let us know as soon as you see it in tracking. Returned orders are subject to a $5 reshipment fee to cover the cost of sending it again.

What are Kraken Rewards?

Our loyalty program — earn 1 point for every dollar spent, plus 50 bonus points on your birthday. You can also refer a friend: they get $10 off, and so do you. Access your points via the Kraken Rewards icon on the site once you're logged in.

Can I send a box as a gift?

Yes — just enter the recipient's name and shipping address at checkout. We also offer digital gift cards if you'd rather let them choose.

I'm an author — can my book be featured?

Congratulations on publishing! We're accepting submissions for 2026. Submit your book here.

I'm a vendor — how do I get my products in the box?

We love sourcing from small businesses. Fill out our vendor application. We're also on Faire — sign up through our link and we'll be notified.

I'm a blogger or influencer — can I get a box to review?

We do occasionally send review boxes and hold an Instagram rep search every three months. Follow us @caffeineandlegends and apply when the next search opens.
